Custom Search Engines get statistics

Google like statistics and they like to share them with users. Currently, you can view search trends for specific keywords with Google Trends, see your own search patterns at Personalized Search, your reading trends at Google Reader and of course your blogs traffic statistics with Google Analytics. But Google thinks that is not enough, so they decided to add statistics for your own custom search engine. With Google Coop, you can create custom search engines (CSE) which searches specific sites or pages and refine results with labels (the search box in this blog is an example). You can monetize your search engine like AdSense for Search by associating your AdSense account with your search engine. You get basic statistics like search volume trends and popular queries. To see your statistics, go to 'My Search Engines' and click on the 'statistics' link next to the search engine name.

P.S. In case you don't know, there is an official blog for Google CSE, subscribe to get latest updates.
